to get
There
are several ferries to Tinos daily from Piraeus (5 hrs.) and at least one
catamaran daily from Rafina (1 1/2 hrs.); schedules should be confirmed
with the Athens tourist office (tel. 01/331-0562), the Port Authority in
Piraeus (tel. 01/459-3223), or the Rafina Port Authority (tel. 0294/22-300).Several
times a day, boats connect Tinos with nearby Mykonos (15 to 40 mins.).
Boats to Siros (20 to 50 mins.) and hydrofoils to Santorini (4 to 6 hrs.),
Paros (1 1/2 hrs.), and Naxos (2 hrs.) are regular in summer and somewhat
less frequent during the winter months A summer day excursion to
Delos and Mykonos departs from Tinos at 10am Tuesday through Sunday, returning
to Tinos at 7pm

The
bus station (tel. 0283/22-440) is on the harbor, opposite the south (old)
port. KTEL, the local bus company, posts its schedules here .
