Thassos

The
variety and extent of Thassos coastline make it possible for bathers to
enjoy an infinite number of different places to swim, all of them lapped
by warm, crystal clear water.
Potos
beach starts in the centre of the village
and extends on a length of 2 kilometres, on the southern coast of Thassos
Pefkari.
It's for sure one of the most beautiful locations of the island, with two
small gulfs that have marvelous sandy beach and very clear waters.
Rosogremos.
sandy beach 2 kilometres away from Potos Beach.
Psili
Amos. is a beach of unique beauty just
5km from Potos. It deserves to be visited for a swim at its crystal clear
waters but also for enjoying the local food at the near by small taverns.
 Astris.The
beaches at Astrida are marvelous and attract not only the customers of
the surrounding hotels but all the visitors of Thassos.
Thimonia.
A clean and picturesque beach
Aliki.
Two small white-sand beaches, calm seas with soft sand in and out of the
water, a tradition village, the ancient marble quarries, pine trees, fishing.
Ag.
Ioannis (Bambouras). A lonely beach on
the site of an ancient harbour. Great historical interest. Crystal clear
waters and beautiful surroundings but quite rocky in the sea.
Paradise
Beach.
The best beach on the island, and the one which most resembles a tropical
paradise. Fine white sand and shallow water surrounded by green mountains.
 Kinira.
A long beach in green, tropical surroundings. Sand in and out of the water.
Clear and shallow water.
Limenaria
there is a vast beach of pure white sand. Very wide with clear water.
Trypiti.
Very popular, with sand and shingle in and out of the water.
Kallirachi
and Sotiras
have very long beaches. Rather narrow, but the sea is clean and shallow.
Prinos
has a long stretch of beach with pine trees, fine sand inside and out,
and shallow waters.
Rachoni
is
another beach in green surroundings with fine sand and no rocks.
Limenas
beach is in a beautiful natural setting
where the sea and the forest meet, and you swim with the pine trees above
you.
 Makriammos.
The most picturesque beach in the Limenas area, in beautiful surroundings
with forest all around. Set in a pretty bay with shallow water and fine
sand. Very well organised.
Golden
Beach, this beach is shared by two villages:
Skala Panagias at one end and Skala Potamias at the other. Long, wide and
surrounded by greenery. |
