Several
ferries and excursion boats make the 5-hour voyage from Piraeus daily,
connecting with the other Saronic islands; contact the Piraeus Port Authority
(tel. 01/451-1311) for schedules. (Note: Cars are not allowed on the island
without express permission.) Several hydrofoils and Supercats leave
Piraeus's daily, most connecting with the other Saronic islands Contact
Ceres Minoan Flying Dolphins (tel. 01/419-9200) in Piraeus for schedules.
Reservations are recommended on weekends.
There
is less frequent service from Spetses to the island of Kithira and various
ports on the Peloponnese; check with Minoan Flying Dolphins.
