one of the most prominent writers of modern Greek literature. The island
of Skiathos has a total of 70 beaches all around it, and the town is a
port that shelters small boats and where ferry services can transport you
to various other areas in Greece. The largest attractions of Skiathos are
the crystal clear water and the beautiful sandy beaches.
Much of the island maintains its
natural beauty, in spite of the popularity for tourists. The beautiful
beach of Koukounaries is considered to be one of the best beaches in Greece.
