Ferry-boats There's one ferry daily from Piraeus (3 hrs.); contact
the Athens tourist office (tel. 01/331-0562) or the Port Authority in Piraeus
(tel. 01/459-3223) for information. Ferries travel daily to nearby islands
such as Serifos (30 to 60 mins.), Kimolos (30 to 40 mins.), Milos (45 mins.),
and Kithnos (1 1/2 hrs.). Hydrofoils travel two or three times a week on
the route Santorini-Folegandros-Milos-Sifnos-Paros-Mykonos-Tinos-Siros
(with variations); travel times are about 1 hour to Paros, 2 hours to Folegandros
or Mykonos, 2 1/2 hours to Tinos, and 3 hours to Santorini or Siros. Call
