air
Olympic
Airways has three flights daily (five daily in summer) between Athens and
Samos. Contact Olympic Airways in Athens at tel.+30 210 9269111.
The
Samos airport is 3km from Pithagorio, from the airport you can take
a taxi to Vathi (15€) or Pithagorio (9€).
By
Ferry-boats
The
principal port of Samos is at Vathi, also called Samos, the other two ports
are Karlovassi and Pithagorio. Ferries from the Piraeus and Cyclades
usually stop at both Vathi and Karlovassi.
Hydrofoils
to the Dodecanese islands depart regularly from Vathi and Pithagorio
It
is also connected with all the islands of the North Aegean and the Dodecanese
islands once a week through the shipping route from Alexandroupoli to Rhodes.
Finally,
Samos is connected on a daily basis more or less thoughout the year with
the port of Kousadasi in Turkey with 2 Greek and 2 Turkish boats, enabling
visitors to admire the ancient monuments of Efesus.

Customs and Health authorities, as well as Passport Control and Exchange
