Paros island Greece

Paros cuisine is a combination of the traditional Greek cuisine with small variations and local specialties Typical variation is the use of Mizithra, a soft white cheese from goat milk, instead of the traditional feta on the salads and main dishes. 

In the island, you will find a great variety of seafood, from lobsters, big fish, squid and octopuses, as well as specialties like Gouna. Gouna is mackerel fish dried in the sun and cooked on the grill. Don't forget to try Karavalous, boiled snails served with garlic sauce, as well as the traditional sweets Petimezinia and Parian pumpkin pie.
