Hydra
island Greece
|
The
lacy beaches along with the "grey" of the rocks and the "blue" of the sea,
give Hydra a "wild" beauty and make her an ideal place for inspiration
and creation!
At
the cove of the arm-port, by the rocks next to the port, you can find the
Cave. It is a rocky beach with much activity. It is offered for diving
in the deep and clear waters. Next is the HydroNet, which is located in
the most beautiful part of the island, under the canons and also next to
the rocks.
After
Hydronet, there is the Channel. A beautiful beach full of pebbles. In the
night it gets illuminated and offers a fabulous view, under the musical
accompaniment of Disco Cavos.
Kamini,
is a small, graphic port with fish boats. Next to there is the Little Kamini,
a small beach with pebbles which is offered for little children and sea
sports.
Vlixos
is a beautiful beach with clear waters. Here there are taverns, where you
can taste local, traditional foods. After Palamida, there is Mole. It's
a closed and fairly quiet, rocky bay. Bisti is the southest bay of the
island, with high rocks. It is ideal for long diving and gun-fishing, next
to the overgrown pinewood. Saint Nicholas and Limioniza, are two beautiful
beaches which are offered for swimming and fishing. Left to the port, there
is Mandraki. An organised "beach", with sea sports, at the locations of
the Mira-Mare hotel. |
