Archaeological Museum of Tripolis
It is housed in a neoclassical building of the former Panarcadic hospital "Evangelistria", which was founded during the years 1895-1905. The building was designed by Ernst Ziller. The archaeological museum was established by the Ephor of Antiquities, Dr. Theodoros Spyropoulos, during the years 1980-1986 and was inaugurated by the then Minister of Culture Melina Merkouri.
The museum houses about 7.000 findings, coming mostly from recent excavations in Arcadia. It is administrative centre of the archaeological services of the prefecture and it also has a cultural and educational role.
The museum contains the following collections: 
  • Prehistoric collections (Neolithic-Mycenaean) 
  • Findings from the Mycenaean cemetery of Palaiokastro Gortynias 
  • Vases of Geometric and Archaic date from Mantineia and Megalopoli 
  • Vases of Hellenistic and Roman date from Kynouria and Megalopoli 
  • Sculptures of Archaic and Classical date from Asea and Mantineia 
  • Sculptures of Hellenistic and Roman date from Eva Kynourias, Mantineia and Tegea 
  • Classical - Hellenistic (Pottery - Figurines - Glass): 5th-2nd century BC 
  • Classical - Hellenistic (Metal objects - tomb types - child toys): 5th - 2nd century BC 
  • Inscriptions of Classical and Roman date from various sites in Arcadia 
  • Various categories of votive offerings from sanctuaries in Arcadia 
  • Bronze vessels and weapons of classical, Hellenistic and Roman date from Megalopolis and Arcadic Orchomenos

Archaeological Museum of Tegea.
The museum was built at the beginning of the 20th century (1906-1910). The first exhibition of the museum's items was organised by Konstantinos Romaios, the re-exhibition by Angelos Delivorias. The present director of the museum, Dr. Theodoros Spyropoulos, is responsible for the final exhibition and its extension to the Museum's courtyard. 
The foundation "M. N. Stasinopoulos- VIOHALCO" offered financial assistance during the repairing and conservation of the museum and during the organisation of the exhibition as well.

The museum houses the following collections:

  • Neolithic and Early Bronze Age items from Agiorgitika and Asea 
  • Architectural members and sculptures from the temple of Alea Athena at Tegea 
  • Sculptures from various sites at Tegea 
  • Small objects from the temple of Alea Athena 
  • Inscriptions of Archaic to Byzantine date from Tegea 
  • Reliefs of Early Christian and Byzantine date from Episkopi Tegeas

The Open-Air Water Power Museum of Dimitsana
The Open-Air Water Power Museum (OAWPM) was founded by the Cultural Foundation of the Hellenic Bank of Industrial Develpoment (ETBA) and opened to the public in the summer of 1997. It is located at "Kefalari tou Ai-Yanni", a spot of great natural beauty 1.5 Km from Dimitsana in the Central Peloponnese. On a site with an area of 1,000 square metres, the buildings of a water-mill (also housing a fulling-tub), a tannery (with the tanner's house) and a powder mill have been reconstructed, and the permanent equipment of those installations has been restored to its original form and functions
